It all started in 1912 back in Denmark…I had been working as a contortionist for twenty-five years, but the future was looking dim as I was suffering from severe frost bite…but that’s another story! As I was saying, Tongues & Lungs had a very unique birth…
once upon a time, a lovely, sparkly girl was examining her belly button, whilst her sister sat quietly next to her under the willow tree. Sister was super duper smart and read story books about human bodies. There were pictures of guts and oozy stuff. It was disgusting but great! Little Hyacinth felt inspired by her sister, so she hurried back to their village to create some magic. Hyacinth ran under the bridge, past Mrs Margery’s mop shop, she raced by the old mill, waved hello at Seymour and was home. She sat down and held her knees close to her chest…”TROPICANA” she shouted, “Ive got it!”
Hyacinth put pen to paper and began work on something that “would change the course of history!”. Hyacinth stayed up all night and all day…every day….in fact, forever! She never slept. She figured that her creations were so SPANKING SPECTACULAR, sleeping was a mere waste of time! Do you know, to this day, people claim that they have seen Hyacinth sitting under that same willow tree???
Anyway, I must be off, the piano tuner is here. I put the key under the mat, let yourself in and pick a part….a body part that is.
